Yesterday morning, Walmart Canada’s official website revealed a series of unannounced video game titles. Several of these titles were rumored to be announced during this year’s E3 conference, which takes place next month.
Some of the most notable titles include; Borderlands 3, Rage 2, Gears of War 5, Just Cause 4, and Splinter Cell, just to name a few. A Twitter user by the name of “Wario64” was able to capture a screenshot before the leaked titles were taken down from the website.

The Walmart Canada Leak
While it’s a well-known fact that large retailers are given lists of video games prior to their release, most of the time, these lists are made up of games that have already been announced to the public. Only their release dates remain a secret. This was certainly not the case with the Walmart Canada leak. As of now, there’s been no official word on any of these titles, aside from the occasional rumor. Did a Walmart employee mistakenly press the wrong button? Or is this some sort of coordinated marketing stunt meant to hype up some of the gaming industries’ biggest titles? While we may never know, one thing is for sure: Bethesda, the developer behind the game Rage, always gives the perfect response.
