Fotor is a simple to use photo editing program, which has both a free and paid (Pro) subscription. It’s basically photoshop and Canva combined. You can easily upload photos on the cloud and tweak them to your desire. Also, you can create custom graphics based on the content type and platform they are going to be used on. Fotor is a leading free online photo editor, and after using it myself, I’m convinced it is! It is available on Google Play, App Store, and Desktop.
The Different Tools & Features On Fotor
Photo Editor
The photo editor feature on Fotor is similar to Photoshop but more user-friendly. You can start by dragging and dropping pictures onto the program’s cloud. Ten photos only made a small dent in the 500m of space. From there, you can make any adjustment you like to your image. Using the “Basic” features, you can easily crop, brighten, sharpen, resize, and apply other effects to your image. For example, if you want your image to look more “old-timey”, you can add vignette to it.
The also provide an extensive amount of Beauty features that’ll let you doll up your pictures. Remove blemishes and erase your pimple from existence. With the click of a button, reduce red eye and whiten your teeth. Not a fan of wearing makeup, but want to add some after the fact? Using Fotor, you can add mascara, blush, eye shadow, eye liner, brow pencil, and lip tinter. Impressive right? Well, if you’re not convinced, here’s a before and after photo:

For those who don’t want to go through the hassle of all the features, there is a 1-Tap Enhance feature that automatically improve your photo. However, after testing out a few images, they seem to be too bright or over-exposed. Even with this, I was highly impressed with the Fotor photo editor.
Design A Graphic
The design feature is very expansive and versatile. If you have a business, there is plenty of marketing material to choose from. There are banner ads for online marketing, business cards, posters, gift certificates, flyers, and more. Having professional and eye-catching content for your business can help take it up a notch!
There is also a lot of designs crafted for social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, Youtube, and Google+. Sizes and text spaces are pre-configured for particular posts. Create a custom YouTube banner or a stylish Tweet with ease. Impress existing followers and recruit new ones by adding life to your posts. Plus, you can post directly to your social platforms through Fotor if you wish to.
The only downfall I came across was that you can’t search and use photos right on Fotor. You have to upload your own to your Fotor cloud.
Create A Collage
The collage feature on Fotor is just as simple as the other features on their website. Just drag and drop your images into the pre-cut designs. Easily make a fun mash-up out of last month’s ski trip.

Choose from one of three hundred pre-configured color schemes, the selection is quite sizable. As a result, you may fall victim to having too many choices with minimal differences. To liven up your collage, add some stickers from the hundreds that are available. Some of which include “Happy Chanukah”, race car decals, and dorky dogs.
For both the collage and design Fotor feature, having the sticker categories listed out is very useful. This prevents you from scrolling for centuries trying to find an image.
