Today, Hollywood’s biggest action star, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, will be a guest host on HQ Trivia. This afternoon’s game will be the second sponsored event to come from the $3 million deal between Warner Bros. and HQ Trivia. Much like the Ready Player One event, this game will feature a six-figure jackpot, $300,000 to be exact. This massive payout, along with the game’s movie star host, could lead to the biggest game of HQ Trivia yet.

Connect With Friends
In addition to this sponsored event, HQ Trivia has introduced a new social feature for UK users. The new “Friends on HQ” feature hit the app just in time for Monday night’s game. This new feature allows players to connect with friends who are also playing HQ. Simply swipe right during the game to see the names of everyone still in the game. At the top of the page you’ll see which of your friends are online as well. Now you won’t have to spy on a cell phone to know which of your friends are ignoring you for HQ. While this feature is only available in the UK at the moment, publisher Intermedia Labs has said the feature will be making it’s way to US devices “soon.”

The Rampage sponsored, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson hosted, $300,000 HQ Trivia game has come to a dramatic conclusion. More than 2.2 million players started the game, but in the end, only 83 “HQties” were left standing. The 83 players that made it past the final round walked away with a grand total of $3,614.46. But if you’re like us and didn’t make it past the first few rounds, you’re in luck.
