Pokémon GO

If you’ve never played Pokémon GO before, we highly recommend that you give it a try, especially on today of all days. Along with useful utilities such as spy apps, Pokémon GO is something that everyone should have on their cell phone. The addictive gameplay coupled with the augmented reality animations will have you feeling like you’re on your own Pokémon adventure.

If you’re already a fan of Pokémon GO, then you certainly know about party hat Pikachu. This special event Pokémon can only be caught on Pokémon Day. So if you missed out on catching this party animal last year, you’ve got a second chance to do so. This years Pikachu comes equipped with the special move “Present” as well. Each time you successfully catch a party hat Pikachu, you will earn triple star dust, as if there wasn’t enough incentive!

Pokémon The Movie: I Choose You!

If you’re a fan of the Pokémon movies, then we suggest watching the most recent animated feature film, Pokémon The Movie: I Choose You! As part of Pokémon Day, you can watch it for free on Pokémon TV.

Snapchat Filters

Last but certainly not least, a new Snapchat filter has been released to help fans around the world celebrate Pokémon Day. Add your favorite grass-type Pokémon, Bulbasaur, to your latest selfie or Snapchat story. Additional filters for the remaining starters, Charmander and Squirtle, will be released in the near future.

So how will you choose to spend Pokémon Day this year? Will you be trying any of the above activities? Let us know in the comment section.
